1. Proper size of mould cavity: a good estimate in shrinkage rates from the fomula of pultrusion material decides if the sizes of intended profile can meet the tolerance requirement.
2. Good design in section size: Too large sized pultrusion mold will increase the cost while too small sized mould may not work properly in actual production. Our experience in mold design is not only from the design cases we did, but also from the production of FRP profiles for our customers. Yes, we are not only FRP die manufacturer but also user of it, we have been pultruding profiles for customers. This is a difference from others.
3. Material selection: this is very important as it affects durability and performance of pultrusion die. It includes not only the selection of steel type but also the surface finishing.
4. Parting surface design: minimizing parting surfaces can ensure a tight seam and facilitate easier demolding. For seamless mold this step is not necessary.
5. Versatile design options: We offer a wide range of design options for custom molds, including various shapes and sizes (flat strips, tubes, rods, or complex geometries), different resin types (unsatured polyester, epoxy) , fiber types (carbon fiber, glass fiber), if with injection or not, if seamless dies or not.
