Pultrusion mold making process

1. Forging of material (steel type include P20, 40Cr, D2...)

2. Surface milling (Tolerance: +/-0.1mm)

3. Outside surface grinding (Tolerance of straightness: +/-0.02mm)

4. Cavity milling (Tolerance of straightness: +/-0.02mm)

5. Drilling and threading holes for assembly

6. Grinding of cavity.

7. Polishing of cavity

8. Final heat treatment and Chrome plating or Nitriding of cavity, more polishing of mold cavity surface. Chrome layer thickness: 0.05mm, HRC>52.

9. Drilling holes on roving plate for preformer. 

10. Final assembly.
